Our Programs

The Player Appearance Program connects fans with their favorite Clippers and Sockers players through exclusive community and arena-based experiences. Designed to inspire and engage, these appearances highlight our teams’ commitment to community impact, youth engagement, and fan connection.

The Career Exploration Program is designed to equip middle school, high school, and college students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experiences necessary to explore and pursue careers in the sports and entertainment venue industry. By offering age-appropriate programming at each level, students are introduced to career opportunities, professional development, and the behind-the-scenes work that makes live events possible.

The Community Ticket Program at Frontwave Arena provides opportunities for individuals and families in need to experience the excitement of live sports by attending San Diego Sockers and San Diego Clippers games. Through partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, youth organizations, and community groups, we distribute complimentary tickets to ensure that everyone has the chance to enjoy world-class sports and entertainment in a welcoming environment.

Providing in-kind and auction donations focusing on assisting organizations that benefit youth sports, disadvantaged youth, children’s medical-related causes, and youth educational programs.

At Frontwave Arena, we are proud to honor and support service members, veterans, and their families through our Military Appreciation Program. Each San Diego Clippers and Sockers home game features a Hero of the Gamerecognition, celebrating the bravery and sacrifice of a local service member or veteran.

The program also provides discounted tickets for military families, special group outings with in-game recognition, and opportunities for fundraising in partnership with military nonprofits. Beyond the arena, our athletes connect with the community through base visits, appearances, and youth sports clinics designed for military children.

The School Program at Frontwave Arena connects education with the excitement of live sports. This year’s highlights include the Clippers Education Day Game on March 19, where students enjoy a special daytime game with interactive, curriculum-based activities.

The program also features a Reading Program to promote literacy, field trips with behind-the-scenes tours of the arena, and assemblies where athletes and staff inspire students with lessons on teamwork and leadership. For older students, internship opportunities offer hands-on experience in the sports and entertainment industry.

By combining academics, career exploration, and unforgettable experiences, the School Program makes learning engaging and impactful for students of all ages.
